![]() Alex Shortsleeve Executive Vice President Alexander Shortsleeve is an MBA graduate with Distinction from Hawaii Pacific University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Travel & Hospitality Management from the University of Hawaii. Mr. Shortsleeve received his Associates Applied Science degree in Marketing from Austin Community College. Recently, Mr. Shortsleeve conducted teacher training workshops for a local college using Neil Fleming’s VARK learning system. He received certification as Administrator for Certified Customer Service Specialist (CSS) and is currently teaching Customer Service at Hawaii Medical Institute. Mr. Shortsleeve was the Hospitality and Business Instructor at Hawaii Business College for eighteen months. The courses he taught included Introduction to Hospitality, Front Office Management, Food & Beverage Management, Destination Geography, Sales & Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Shortsleeve was Accounts Director and partner of a small event planning company in Austin, Texas. As the Accounts Director, he maintained the budgetary and financial aspects of the company while managing sales and sub-contractors and providing on-site direction during more than 300 events. As Executive Vice President for Test Success Hawaii, Mr. Shortsleeve’s primary focus is on school partnerships, grants and proposals, contracts and all aspects of accounts. With more than 3 years of personal instruction and several years of public speaking, he guides our instructors to bring professionalism and quality to the classroom. Mr. Shortsleeve also steps in to motivate our High School SAT Skill-Building and Middle School Study Skills and Test-Taking programs as needed. Mr. Shortsleeve is also the main instructor for Test Success Hawaii’s Interactive On-line SAT & College prep classes. As part of a recent project, Mr. Shortsleeve prepared a research paper on the Difference of In-Class and On-Line Programs. |
