Every teen can succeed with our SAT and College prep program

Information about
Our SAT & College prep Programs

The Test Success Hawaii SAT & College Prep programs are conducted in high school classrooms and online as a webinar. The program teaches test-taking skills and college preparation principles for all students. This program can improve the student's chances of receiving better scores and grades in both high school and college; and succeed in navigating the college lifestyle.

With our PowerPoint presentation, the instructor begins the program by informing the students as to what colleges and universities are seeking within prospective students. The reasons for the creation of the SAT are given, which includes why the exam exists and what colleges and universities interpret from it as a reflection of future student performance.

Our instructor discusses the college lifestyle as a preparation for student success throughout the college years. Focus is on various learning modes and how to make the professor’s teaching style work best for them, time management, and the college themselves. Links to websites that will help the teens to learn more about their college choices, are given on our website and throughout the program.

From the very first day and throughout the program, specific strategies are given to assist students in each section of the SAT. Students are tested each day, followed by a comprehensive review of each exam and how they can apply our strategies to the questions.

Near the end of every program, a final exam is given to simulate the SAT experience of being tested in all subjects on one particular day. On the last day of the program, the final exam is reviewed thoroughly with an interpretation of scores achieved by the student throughout the course.

A "Game Plan" of action is then discussed to further equip the students with specific goals to achieve, based on when they decide to take the SAT.

Within a few weeks the parents will receive the Student Report from Test Success Hawaii. This report outlines the student’s program performance, and offers important reminders for succeeding on the SAT. Finally, follow-up surveys are sent to the students and their parents to discover whether the program met their expectations as well as giving us vital information on improving our programs.
